QUICK OVERVIEW - TL;DR (please read this section to ensure your fit before applying)
Our client is hiring for a General Manager to launch and lead their Vancouver market. This leader in the restoration and reconstruction space has nearly 400 offices serving residential, institutional, and commercial customers and clients across the United States and Canada. For over 50 years, our client has served their communities in their time of need when facing disaster.
This opportunity will be a true leader for the company and community, making positive impacts on the lives of their clients and teams every day. If you are a true visionary, leader, and mission-minded growth driver, we’d love to get to know you and learn more about your fit for our client.
THE MUST HAVES: The General Manager is CEO of the branch, office, team…they are the leader, the front person, the coach, the driver, and the glue. To be successful in the role, we are looking for someone with strong industry experience…in restoration, reconstruction, construction, senior construction project management, or experience leading a service-based business as a General Manager, Owner, or Senior Leader.
You will also need to have a successful track record leading teams, building a branch (or building revenue, teams, markets), hiring/training/developing people, managing a P&L, and wearing any hat necessary to lead the branch to successful outcomes. Sales and market growth experience is also valuable.
THE WHY: a subsection of the construction industry that’s all about helping people during incredibly hard times/disasters - floods, fires, mold, emergencies, and accidents.
THE WHERE: the market is based in Vancouver and the territory encompasses the Vancouver metro market and some adjoining city areas. You’ll be working in the office or out in the field (aka - no remote options). Only candidates within 20 miles of the listed territory (or willing to relocate) will be considered.
THE WHO: one of the leading companies in the space - great people-first culture, support of a large corporate team, yet smaller office branches allow for family and strong team environments. The General Manager is at the helm - leading team members, initiatives, and the future of the branch. They’re the CEO of the branch, the leader, the coach, and the driver.
THE HOW: The General Manager will be responsible for leading this market…with support of other regional branches and team members. The ideal candidate is an experienced team leader with a passion for growth - leading a world-class team and increasing market opportunities for this office.
Comp range is $120,000 - 150,000 plus bonus. Strong benefits package is also included with Medical Benefits, RSP, PTO, and much more.
