Our client is a locally-owned and operated company with decades of experience supporting Colorado clients with roofing needs, including roof inspections, total roof replacement, green roofing, commercial and residential roofing, and roofing repairs.
They are currently experiencing a massive growth phase and are now in search of Outside Sales and Business Development Managers to excel their growth.
THE WHY: The Outside Sales / Business Development Manager role will be a strategic partner responsible for developing and implementing strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and company growth objectives, conducting market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
THE WHERE: The ideal candidate will be able to come into our client’s Denver office in a hybrid capacity, once a week-once a month. Field based will be anywhere along the front range, Fort Collins to Castle Rock.

THE HOW: The Outside Sales/ Business Development Manager role is critical as the growth hacker for our client and being a strategic partner for their commercial clients.
The Outside Sales/ Business Development Manager will be responsible for being our client’s representative, meeting sales goals, networking to make connections, and following up on leads. This role will receive a base salary of $55,000 – 65,000 plus a strong commission plan with an expected OTE of $160,000-175,000. The company also offers Profit Sharing, Unlimited PTO, and a Family Benefits Health Stipend of 50%.
THE MUST HAVES: The ideal candidate for the role will have proven experience in business development within the commercial roofing industry, commercial real estate, commercial property management, or community association management sectors. They will be self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. Able to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.

Proven Business Development experience within the commercial roofing industry, commercial real estate, commercial property management, or community association management sectors.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools, plus building, managing, and executing sales strategies to develop market awareness, sector growth, prospecting strategies, networking, and growth initiatives.

The Outside Sales/ Business Development Manager will attend networking events, and trade shows to represent our client, collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

Proven experience in a business development role within the commercial roofing industry, commercial real estate, commercial property management, or community association management sectors
Strong network and existing relationships within commercial property management, commercial brokerage, and multi-family/HOA groups
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events
PREFERRED:
College degree is heavily preferred, but not required
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Identify and target potential clients within the commercial property management, commercial brokerage, and multi-family/HOA sectors, leveraging existing relationships to generate new business opportunities and build a robust pipeline
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and company growth objectives, conducting market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities
Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows, collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, negotiating and closing deals to ensure alignment with company goals and customer satisfaction
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards targets in CRM systems, providing regular reports to senior management on business development activities, performance metrics, and market insights
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Our client provides a comprehensive benefits package including:
Compensation Package: OTE: $160,000-175,000; Base pay: $55,000-65,000; remainder in commissions
