THE WHO: Our client is a leading property restoration company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Pennsylvania. They're the team that helps families and businesses rebuild after disasters - floods, fires, storms, and other property damage events.


THE WHAT: You will be managing the reconstruction phase of restoration projects - the rebuild that happens after mitigation is complete. We're looking for proven project managers who understand the unique challenges of restoration reconstruction and can lead complex rebuilds from structural repairs through final finishes.


MUST HAVES: We need candidates with direct restoration reconstruction experience - not just general construction project management. You must understand insurance processes, restoration timelines, and the complexities of rebuilding after property damage. 3+ years of restoration reconstruction PM experience required.

  1. Project Portfolio Expansion: Take ownership of a robust portfolio of reconstruction projects, leveraging your experience to maintain the company's reputation for quality and timeline excellence across an expanding client base.

  2. Team Leadership & Culture Building: Join and help strengthen the existing team culture while bringing your expertise to mentor crew members, collaborate with established subcontractors, and maintain the high standards that drive continued growth.

  3. Process Excellence & Innovation: Contribute to ongoing improvements in project workflows, quality systems, and client communication processes to support continued expansion and market leadership.


THE NUTS & BOLTS: Competitive compensation $75,000 - $125,000 based on experience and performance bonuses. Company vehicle, technology package, and comprehensive benefits included.

As a Reconstruction Project Manager, you will lead the rebuild phase of property damage restoration projects from structural repairs through final finishes. This role requires someone who can manage complex, multi-trade reconstruction projects while maintaining the high standards and specialized approaches required in the restoration industry.

THE DAY TO DAY


Project Leadership & Execution

  • Manage a portfolio of active reconstruction projects simultaneously, from structural repairs through final finishes

  • Coordinate and schedule all trades, subcontractors, and material deliveries to ensure efficient project flow

  • Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and progress assessments

  • Lead daily project activities, problem-solve field issues, and make strategic decisions to optimize project outcomes


Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for property owners throughout the reconstruction process

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters and industry partners

  • Provide clear, regular updates on project progress, timelines, and scope developments

  • Navigate change orders and additional work approvals efficiently and professionally


Documentation & Project Controls

  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress photos, daily logs, and quality checklists

  • Manage project budgets, track labor and material costs, and ensure profitability targets are met

  • Utilize project management software and tools to maintain real-time project visibility

  • Ensure all work meets company standards and applicable building codes


Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and motivate project crews and subcontractors to maintain high productivity and quality standards

  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain exemplary job site safety records

  • Collaborate with internal teams including estimators, office staff, and senior management

  • Contribute to team development and share restoration industry best practices


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


Required (Non-Negotiable):

  • 3+ years of direct project management experience in restoration reconstruction

  • Proven track record managing insurance-driven reconstruction projects

  • Experience coordinating multiple trades through complex reconstruction sequences

  • Strong understanding of restoration industry processes, timelines, and quality standards

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record


Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with large loss reconstruction projects ($100K+)

  • Knowledge of building codes and construction standards

  • Experience with restoration industry software and tools

  • Professional certifications (PMP, etc.)


Competencies & Skills

  • Expert-level knowledge of reconstruction processes and building systems

  • Strong leadership abilities with proven crew and subcontractor management experience

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities

  • Outstanding communication skills with ability to work with distressed property owners

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects

  • Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology


Travel

  • This position requires daily travel to job sites throughout the Lancaster, PA region and surrounding areas.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Competitive compensation range of $75,000 - $125,000 annually based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses and incentives.
