QUICK OVERVIEW - TL;DR (please read this section to ensure your fit before applying)

Our client is hiring Restoration Project Managers for both Mitigation and Reconstruction roles - these are two distinct but complementary leadership positions that cover the complete property restoration lifecycle.

THE WHO:

  • Our client is a national leader in the property restoration industry with decades of experience helping families and businesses recover from disasters.

  • They're the first responders when chaos strikes, bringing order and expertise to water, fire, and mold damage emergencies across hundreds of markets.

THE WHAT:

  • You will be THE leader for restoration projects across the Philadelphia, PA region.

  • We're looking for true experts, battle-tested project managers, and decisive field leaders who thrive in high-pressure situations and find deep satisfaction in taking properties from disaster back to "like it never even happened."

TWO DISTINCT ROLES:

  • Mitigation Project Manager: Emergency response specialist focusing on damage stabilization, water extraction, structural drying, and preventing further damage in the critical first 72 hours

  • Reconstruction Project Manager: Full-scale rebuilding expert managing the complete restoration process from structural repairs through final finishes

MUST HAVES:

  • For Mitigation: 3-8 years of direct mitigation project management experience, active IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD), and deep expertise in water, fire, and mold mitigation disciplines

  • For Reconstruction: 3-8 years of reconstruction or general construction project management experience, with proven ability to manage complex rebuilding projects from structural to finish work

This is NOT an entry-level technician position, and NOT a senior executive strategy role - this is hands-on project leadership.

THE WHY:

  • The restoration industry isn't just about construction - it's about being there for people during their worst days.

  • When a family's home floods or a business suffers fire damage, you're the expert who shows up, takes control, and leads the journey back to normal.

THE WHERE:

  • Lehigh Valley and Pocono regions of Pennsylvania. This is a field-based role with daily on-site presence required across both areas.

THE HOW:

There are three key strategic initiatives that this person will be initially tasked with:

  • Operational Excellence Framework: Establish and maintain industry-leading protocols while ensuring every project meets or exceeds industry standards, creating systematic approaches that deliver consistent results across your area of specialization.

  • Crew Development & Training: Build and lead high-performing restoration teams through hands-on mentoring, comprehensive safety training, and technical skill development, creating the next generation of restoration experts.

  • Client Experience Mastery: Develop and implement communication protocols that transform the typically stressful restoration experience into one where clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the entire process.

THE NUTS & BOLTS:

  • Comp range is $85,000 - $120,000 plus performance-based incentives.

  • Company vehicle, gas card, technology package, and comprehensive benefits included.

We are Jombine – a recruiting partnership that goes far beyond traditional headhunting. We represent our clients as trusted talent advisors, partnering with leadership teams to find candidates who don't just meet the technical requirements, but genuinely align with their unique culture, values, and team dynamics.

THE COMPANY & TEAM

Our client is one of the top restoration companies in the US, operating in hundreds of different markets nationwide. For over 50 years, they've served their communities in their time of need when facing disaster.

Even better - it is an industry that truly serves its community. The restoration industry comes alongside home and business owners during unexpected hard days - floods, fires, mold, and more. Imagine a restaurant kitchen fire that closes the business and 50 employees are now temporarily out of work. Or a broken pipe that floods a home and displaces a family during the holidays.

These are just a few examples of how our client steps in and serves their communities with steadfast service through innovative solutions and approach, and all-inclusive support to get people back in business and back in their homes.

The team understands that both the emergency response and the rebuilding phases are absolutely critical - not just for the property, but for the people affected. They've built their reputation on being the experts who can deliver excellence at every stage of the restoration process.

YOUR DNA

  • You are a master of controlled chaos - the type of leader who walks into a disaster scene and immediately sees the path forward while others see only devastation.

  • You don't just manage projects; you orchestrate recovery. Whether you're the emergency response expert who stabilizes a flooded building in the first 72 hours, or the reconstruction specialist who rebuilds it back to pre-loss condition, you're the expert who brings technical expertise, leadership, and unwavering focus to getting people's lives back to normal.

  • You are people-first in the highest-pressure situations. You understand that behind every claim is a person or family going through one of the worst experiences of their life. You bring technical mastery AND emotional intelligence, communicating with empathy while maintaining the confidence and authority needed to guide them through your phase of the process.

  • You're a field general, not a desk manager. You thrive being on-site, directing crews, making real-time decisions, and getting your hands dirty when needed. You know that great restoration happens in the field, not in a conference room.

  • You are obsessed with the technical details that separate good from great. Whether it's psychrometric principles and moisture science, or construction sequencing and material coordination, you live and breathe the expertise that makes you indispensable in your area of specialization.

  • You bring a "buck stops here" mentality. When insurance adjusters call with questions, when clients need updates, when crews need direction - you're the definitive source of answers. You own the outcome from project start to completion within your specialization.

  • You've read, love, and live by industry principles - whether that's IICRC standards for mitigation or construction best practices for rebuilding - and come to the table with proven methodologies that you've tested and succeeded with in real-world situations.
