As a Mitigation Technician, you'll be on the front lines of disaster recovery, responding to emergencies and leading restoration efforts for properties damaged by water, fire, and other disasters.

MUST HAVES:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with clean record
Ability to lift 75 lbs frequently
Strong customer service background
Comfort with technology (iPhone, iPad, restoration software)
Ability to work in emergency response situations
Willingness to work nights/weekends and participate in on-call rotation

THE WHERE:
Surrey, BC location. This position requires mobility throughout the Surrey area to respond to emergency situations.
THE HOW:
There are three key strategic initiatives that this person will be initially tasked with:
Establishing service excellence standards for the new Surrey branch through exceptional emergency response times and customer satisfaction metrics
Supporting the development of new team members through mentorship and on-the-job training as the branch grows
Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance partners and commercial clients in the Surrey market
THE NUTS & BOLTS:
Compensation range is $18.00 - $30.00 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation & sick days, 401(k), company cell phone, and performance bonus opportunities.

THE DAY TO DAY
Emergency response to water, fire, and storm damage situations
Conducting detailed damage assessments and moisture inspections
Operating specialized restoration equipment
Performing controlled demolition when necessary
Maintaining detailed documentation through our technology platforms
Leading and mentoring junior team members
Maintaining vehicles and equipment
Providing exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with clean record
Physical ability to lift 75 lbs frequently
Customer service experience
Technology proficiency (smartphones, tablets, computers)
Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
Strong communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous restoration industry experience
IICRC certifications
Experience with restoration management software
Leadership or mentoring experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in various positions (standing, crouching, kneeling)
Capable of working in confined spaces
Comfortable working at heights
Able to work in potentially hazardous environments with proper safety equipment
Ability to work in BC's varied climate conditions
