THE WHAT:
As a Freight Broker, you'll operate as a full-desk professional across any of our client organizations.
While each company has its unique culture and specific systems, all positions focus on managing the entire logistics process from prospecting to delivery, with the freedom to operate as an entrepreneurial force within an established remote framework.
MUST HAVES:

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Looking for experienced brokers who bring:
A strong existing book of business (auto transport, FTL, LTL, expedited, CPG, retail, etc. preferred)
Experience as a 1099 or W2 broker in a freight brokerage environment
Deep knowledge of logistics industry best practices and market trends
An entrepreneurial mindset and desire for autonomy
Strong network of shipper and carrier contacts
Proven track record of lead generation and relationship management
Experience thriving in remote work environments
THE DAY TO DAY
Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers to facilitate freight movement
Source, negotiate, and secure freight contracts with clients and carriers
Manage the full brokerage process, from booking to final delivery, ensuring timely and efficient service
Utilize transportation management software (TMS) and load boards (DAT, Truckstop) to optimize load coverage
Track shipments and provide real-time updates to clients
Build and grow your book of business through lead generation, cold calling, and networking
Analyze market trends and optimize routing strategies
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Work with logistics software including Microsoft Access, Shipper TMS, SuperDispatch, and Slack
Collaborate virtually with national teams and clients
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a freight broker or freight agent
Proven track record with an existing book of business (required)
Strong network of shipper and carrier contacts
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with freight management software
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics industry trends
